How do I calculate position size in forex?
Position size in lots = money at risk ÷ (stop loss in pips × pip value per lot). With $1,000, 1% risk and a 20-pip stop on EUR/USD (pip value $10 per lot), that is $10 ÷ (20 × $10) = 0.05 lots.
